Meet The Cast!

Jessica Crouch* (Elle Woods) is tickled pink to make be making her debut at The Palace Theatre.  She was most recently seen on the west coast in Bingo! The Winning Musical at California Musical Theatre.  Highlights include: National Tour of All Shook Up! (ensemble/u.s. Miss Sandra), In Trousers (Miss Goldberg), Cheer Wars (Nuella Percy), Beauty & The Beast (Belle), The Foreigner (Catherine).  Jessica has also sailed the seas as a Production Singer for Carnival Cruise Lines.  Proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.  ”Snaps” to my wonderfully supportive family, friends, and everyone at The Palace Theatre!!!

Jenna Kantor(Paulette) is thrilled to be performing and working at the Palace Theatre after having the honor of playing Velma in “Chicago” and Maria in “Lend Me a Tenor” this year. She is grateful to be working amongst yet another group of talented and top notch people. Gus Curry (Emmett Forrest):  Tour: Cabaret  (US and Canada)New York:  (e)vaporate (Barrow Street Theatre); Ocean in a Teacup (Midtown International Theatre Festival, MITF Award Best Actor in a Lead Role: Musical).  Regional:  The Fantasticks, The Man Who Came To Dinner, Rent, Hair, Big River, Damn Yankees (TAP Award: Best Actor).  Tickled pink to be back in Manchester where favorites have included Pippin, The Producers, Forever Plaid, Miss Saigon, The Full Monty, All Shook Up, Lend me a Tenor among others.  This summer he will be playing Paul in Carnival at Gloucester Stage Company in Gloucester, MA.  Less than week later, he will be marrying his gorgeous fiancee KT.  He thanks her for putting up with all of this.  

Mark Nichols (Professor Callahan) is delighted to be back on the Palace stage. He is a veteran of over 225 productions, and has performed in 27 states. When he’s not on stage, Mark is a Senior Systems Administrator, by which he means certified computer nerd. He has previously been seen at the Palace in A Christmas Carol (Scrooge), Footloose (Uncle Wes), Oliver! (Fagin), Beauty and the Beast (Maurice), and Chicago (Amos – 2005). Mark would like to thank Carl for inviting him to be part of this terrific cast.

Julia Johanos (Serena) just graduated from the Musical Theater department at CCM, and is so excited to be doing her first show out of school with the Palace Theatre! Previous roles include: Florence in Chess, Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast (Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater), and Susan Wilkes in Big River (Arvada Center Theater Company). At CCM she was seen as Laurey in Oklahoma (League of Cincinnati Theatres Award), Helen in Out of This World, and Dr. Charlotte in Falsettos. Aubrey Mae Davis (Margot/Elle U/S) A Sonoma, CA native, Aubrey is simply thrilled to join the sisterhood! Tours: Hairspray, All Shook Up, Sesame Street Live. Other favorite credits include: Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Peter Pan (Wendy), and Fiddler On the Roof (Chava). Countless thanks to my family, my backbone, I love you more than you could possibly know. And lastly, to my Nana who started it all.

Melanie L. Gaskins (Pilar) graduated with a BFA in dance from Temple University. She was most recently the dance captain on the National Tour of The Color Purple. Melanie has performed as a member of the NJ Nets NBA dance team and Danco II. Favorite roles/features include: the National tour of Joseph…Dreamcoat(Mrs. Potiphar), All Shook Up(Lorraine), A Chorus Line(Sheila), The Wedding Singer(Crystal/Tina Turner), Evita(tango dancer), Showchoir! The Musical-2007 NY Fringe Festival (Sabrina Turner), and Black Nativity(Mary). Melanie thanks family and friends for their continual support.

Spencer Case (Nikos) is, like, totally excited to be doing, like, the best show ever, Legally Blonde. A native of sunny Los Angeles, he graduated from Princeton University (he totally gets Elle’s Ivy League culture shock!). He was most recently seen at the Palace as Benny in Guys and Dolls. Spencer has been featured singing on the Tonight Show and Last Call with Carson Daly and was a contestant on Season 7 of American Idol. Thanks to Carl and the wonderful cast and crew! Love to family and friends!!!

Lucas Coatney (Carlos) is SO excited to be back at the Palace. No stranger to this fantastic stage. You may have seen him in Chicago(Mary Sunshine) Hairspray (Edna Turnblad), Nunsense A-Men (Sister Amnesia), Crazy for You (Lank), Pippin (Fastrata), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), A Chorus Line(Greg), Gypsy(Tulsa/Tessie), Cabaret (Emcee). Lucas would like to thank you for supporting the arts in Manchester!

Keith Webb (Warner) a Philadelphia native, Keith has been performing in many productions throughout the area. Keith is very excited to be making his return to The Palace Theatre where he appeared in the Palace Theatre’s original “Royalty of Rock and Pop” as the Elvis Tribute Singer earlier this year. Some of Keith’s favorite roles include: Playing Radames in “AIDA”, Rocky in “The Rocky Horror Show”, and the Wickersham Brother in “Seussical”. Keith would like to thank God for all the gifts and blessings he gives to him everyday, and everyone who supports live theater, because without you he could not do what he loves to do everyday.

Chris Matesevac (Kyle/Grand Master)is ecstatic to be back at The Palace Theatre playing this awesome role!! Chris was last seen here as Fred Casely in Chicago. Some favorite theatre credits include: Evil Dead the Musical, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, The Full Monty, and Killer Joe. Chris can soon be seen in the original movie Elixir, on ABC Family in the late spring/summer. Chris has trained almost all of his life in hip hop and acting and can currently be seen in commercials, music videos, and ads on television, ranging from MTV to HBO, and soon to be ABC Family! Special thanks to Bloc NYC, his loving family, and his loving NYC family for being inspiring and motivational. Oh, and love you mommy!!!

 

Larissa Klinger (Vivienne)is thrilled to be returning to the Palace, after playing “Diana” in Lend Me a Tenor this past January!  Other favorite credits: Mack and Mabel (Mabel), Miracle on 34th St (Doris), Gypsy (Louise), 42nd St (Annie), Sisters of Swing (LaVerne Andrews), The Robber Bridegroom (Rosamund), Cabaret  (Helga), and Backwards in High Heels (Ethel Merman/Woman #3).  When she is not performing in the theatre, Larissa travels and performs all over the US with the USO Liberty Bells.  She would like to thank Carl and Natalie for the opportunity, her family for their support, and God for His constant grace.  Much love to Dan!  www.larissaklinger.com

Megan Quinn (Enid Hoops) is so very happy to be performing at the Palace once again! Most recently, she has appeared on the Palace stage as Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol, Female Authority Figure in Hairspray, Claire in Rumors and Maggie Jones in 42nd Street. She has recently worked with theatre companies all over New Hampshire, including: Seacoast Repertory Theatre (in over 20 productions), the Rochester Opera House (as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet), Prescott Park Arts Festival (as the title role in Peter Pan and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Kent Stephens’ StageForce (in The Lamplight Dialogues). Megan toured the country with American Family Theatre’s productions of Babes in Toyland (Jill) and Pippi Longstocking (Annika). She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she received a B.A. in Theatre. All my thanks to Carl and Jessica for everything they’ve done for me!

Missy Clayton(Brooke Wyndham)is thrilled to be apart of the cast for Legally Blonde! This role is a dream come true! She is a graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC where she studied Musical Theatre and Dance. Missy recently just finished up a season at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA as a dancer and their Show Captain. Previous Palace Credits: Royalty of Rock n’ Pop, The Four Piano Men (Featured Dancer), 42nd Street (Lorraine), Swing Fever! (Featured Dancer), RENT, A Chorus Line (Kristine), W.S.S (Anybody’s). Special thank you to Carl for giving her these amazing opportunities, and to her brother Max for always being her best friend and biggest fan!  All my love to Mom, Dad, and my Mowatt/Qureshi family for the never ending support, and to Andy and our Lil’ Brudda! Let’s get whipped into shape!

Stuart Harmon (Dad/Professor) is happy to be back at the Palace again!  Previous shows at the Palace include: The Producers (Franz Liebkind), The Wedding Singer, The Full Monty, Baby, Singin’ in the Rain, Crazy For You, Big River, 42nd Street, and A Christmas Carol.  He also appeared here as Reverend Shaw in Footloose, and as FDR in Annie and Annie Warbucks.  His favorite roles are Jekyll & Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde, Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, Edward Rochester in Jane Eyre, Alfred/Sam in Romance Romance, and Adam/Noah in Children of Eden.

Elizabeth Armano (Ensemble) Elizabeth is so excited to be returning to the Palace stage and performing in this amazing production of Legally Blonde!  Elizabeth was last seen playing Velma VonTussle in Hairspray and the washed-up diva, Dorothy Brock, in the 42nd Street here at the Palace Theatre. She also appeared as Fräulein Kost in last season’s production of Cabaret. Other Palace Professional credits include: Cats (Grizabella), The Full Monty (Joanie), Rent, Swing Fever and All Shook Up.  She would like to thank her family and friends for their constant love and support.

Andrea Dotto (Whitney) couldn’t be happier to be back at the Palace! She most recently played Mona in this season’s CHICAGO. Dotto is a graduate of Montclair State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and is thrilled to call New York City her home. Some of her favorite credits include: Charity in Sweet Charity, Lola in Damn Yankees, Ellie in Showboat, Eileen in I Love a Piano, Bonnie in Anything Goes, Connie in A Chorus Line, Lu Ann in Hairspray, Anybodys in the Jeromes Robbins Tribute, Percy in The Spitfire Grill, and Little Becky in Urinetown. Love and endless thanks to her family. andreadotto.com

Corey Campbell (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back on the Palace Theatre stage!  Last season he performed here in the production of Hairspray, as well as, the premier of The Four Piano Men.  Corey received his BFA in dance and graduated most outstanding senior from the University of Arizona, School of Dance. There he received training in ballet, modern and jazz under a variety of master teachers. He performed concert dance pieces by Emmy Award winning choreographer, Mia Michaels as well as a modern dance piece choreographed by Tony Award and Emmy Award Nominee, Donald McKayle. After college he danced with Watson Dance Company at the Kieler Woche Festival in Kiel, Germany and was on tour with contemporary dance company NY2Dance. Most recently Corey was on Stage in Lancaster, PA at The American Music Theatre. When not performing, Corey loves to explore his own choreography, as well as, works as a teacher to inspire new dancers. Thank you everyone for your support!

Jessica Moryl (Kate/Chutney) is thrilled to be returning to The Palace for her fifth year as performer and costume designer. Some of her favorite shows here at The Palace include: Royalty of Rock n’ Pop, Guys and Dolls, Hairspray, 42nd Street, Piano Men, Rumors, Cabaret, CATS (Tantomile), The Full Monty (Estelle), Swing Fever (Featured Dancer), Wedding Singer (Cindy Lauper), All Shook Up, and The Producers.  She has also been seen in Seacoast Repertory Theatre’s productions of How to Succeed (Heddy LaRue), Gypsy (Electra), and The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live! Adrienne J. Bergeron(Ensemble) a resident of NYC, is ecstatic to be a Palace spring resident artist and to perform in Legally Blonde!  As a resident this spring, Adrienne teaches dance classes to the Palace Teen and Apprentice Companies, recently choreographed Mulan Jr. for PYT, is currently performing with the Palace’s Youth Manchester Tour of I Think I Can, and is also choreographing and co-directing the Apprentice Company’s production of Dear Edwina Jr..  Favorite regional credits:  Chicago (Go to Hell Kitty), Seven Brides… (Sarah), Fiddler…(Chava), Hello, Dolly! Jonathan Tylicki (Ensemble) hails from NYC, by way of Cleveland, Ohio.  Most recently he was in Chicago, and The Royalty of Rock ‘n’ Pop, right here at the Palace Theatre!  Other career highlights include: Plato/Macavity in CATS, Music of the Night: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (Really Useful Group), Hey, Mr Producer! (Cameron Macintosh), The Madness of May (Ray Kennedy), The Will Roger’s Follies (DJ Salisbury), Fame!, Swing! and Le Cirque Bijoux (JARP), Semi-Finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season 2).  Jonathan has also
performed around the world as an Aerialist, Featured Dancer, and Dance Captain with Jean Ann Ryan Productions.  He is excited to be performing at the Palace, with such an excellent cast!  Love always to Mom and Dad!

Daniel Schwartzberg (Aaron Shultz/Ensemble) is so excited and honored to be performing in the cast of Legally Blonde! Past roles include: Nathan Lukowski (The Full Monty); Sammy (The Wedding Singer); Mike Costa (A Chorus Line); Georg (Spring Awakening); Evan (13: The Musical). He will next be seen performing as Emmett in the Palace Teen Company’s production of Legally Blonde. He wants to give a huge thank you to Carl and Julie for this opportunity, and to his amazing parents for being so supportive of him.

Marc Willis  (Ensemble) Since moving to New Hampshire just three and a half years ago – Marc has been featured in over 20 shows, four of which have garnered him New Hampshire Theatre Award nominations and 2 wins, most recently for Best Actor in a musical for his portrayal of Gordon Schwinn in “A New Brain”.  His other win was for Best Supporting Actor in a musical for his portrayal of Malcolm McGreggor in “The Full Monty” in 2009.  His other nominated roles were Bob Cratchit in “A Christmas Carol: A Musical Ghost Story” 2010,   and Josh Baskin in “BIG: The Musical” 2010.  Other roles in recent months include: Bobby in “A Chorus Line”, Bill Sykes in “Oliver”, Jynx in “Forever Plaid” “The Laramie Project” and Cohen in “Steve Martin’s: The Underpants”.  Much Love and Thanks to Tony!

Cara Quigley (Ensemble) is unbelievably excited to be making her professional debut at the Palace Theatre. Favorite credits include: A Christmas Carol, The Wedding Singer, Legally Blonde, and Godspell. She would like to thank Carl, Julie, and Natalie for this amazing opportunity and special thanks to her parents, Al, and NPH.

Sarah Martinez (Ensemble) is so thrilled to be a part of this super talented cast! This marks her second professional show at the Palace Theatre. Favorite roles include: Gabriella in High School Musical 2, Jasmine in Aladdin, and will be a part of the Palace Teen Company’s Legally Blonde the Musical as Brooke. Sarah would like to thank her mom and dad for everything they do for her, and Carl, Natalie, and Julie for this wonderful opportunity!

Kelly Arneri(Ensemble)is so excited to be a part of the Legally Blonde cast. She had a wonderful time in this past year’s production of A Christmas Carol and looks forward to another Palace Professional Production. Some of her favorite performances include: PPT4C Alice in Wonderland (Alice), Chicago (Velma Kelly), and The Wizard of Oz (The Wicked Witch). Thank you so much to Carl and Julie for this opportunity, as well as Tommy, Adrienne, Natalie, and Nate for everything!

Jared Roberts(Ensemble) is extremely honored to be a part of Legally Blonde, his first professional production at the Palace Theatre. But this is not his first time on the Palace stage. He has performed in  Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater’s annual Nutcracker where he has played the roles of Mouse King and Nutcracker. He will be attending NYU Tisch this summer for their musical theater program. He wants to thank Carl especially for this fabulous experience/opportunity, his director and friend Nate, his family, his best friend Natalie, and his English teacher Mrs. Usinger for their support and encouragement.

Gia (Bruiser)

Tater (Rufus) is totally thrilled to be returning to The Palace stage!!   You might recognize Tater from his special cameo apperance in Christmas Carol at The Palace as Bulldog Fezziwig.  It has always been a dream of Tater’s to play the role of Rufus in Legally Blonde.  He is especially happy he gets to do another show with his Mom, Jessica Moryl.  Special thanks to Carl, Mom, Dad and all The Palace Staff for giving him another opportunity to perform!
